Christening of our Princess!

The most amazing day ever! First christening in mama's neighborhood church where babcia, dziadek, mama and ciocia Ola were also christened! Ciocia Ola and uncle Maciek are Julia's Godparents! After church ceremony, we headed to the restaurant downtown where we rented the whole place and ate the most delicious food and desserts ever! Uncle Maciek was the best babysitter and was completely memorized by our Itty! Here are some pics:).

Dancing Princess!

Last weekend fun! Crump Park!

For the first time we went to Crump park/Meadow farm, which is literally 10 min from our house. We were pleasantly surprised of how nice that place is. It has some historical features, lots of space for picnicking and farm animals. We packed lunch from Quizznoss, wagon and had a very relaxing picnic while Julia had fun exploring:). The weather was just gorgeous:).

Labor Day! Dinner with Matos's!

On Monday afternoon we had a dinner with Sofia and her parents at Mexican restaurant. Girls were so funny! Sofia was passing Julia crackers under the table and Julia was feeding Sofia chicken she didn't want to eat hehe.

 

 

Toother #9!

Yes, first molar is out and about (upper right). It was more painful than previous teeth and we had 102.6 fever for the whole day and a poor appetite! After it cut through everything went back to normal :).

 

Couponing!

Mama spent the whole morning organizing her coupon folder.... and left it on the table. The picture says it all!!! Huh :)

Yes, we are in the phase of climbing on EVERYTHING: fireplace, sofas, chairs, you name it ;).

 

 

 

 

Chapel Hill bound and Annabella's birthday party!

Weekend of Aug 23.
Annabella's 1st birthday party was on Sunday, so we decided to take this opportunity to spend the whole weekend in Chapel Hill. On Saturday, after Julia's swimming class we hit the road.

 

We stayed in Carolina Inn and had a view of the ongoing wedding ceremony :). That afternoon we got together with our friends Lisa and BJ and their 2.5 year old daughter Clara. We went out to have some BBQ. After dinner, we came back to the hotel, grabbed the stroller and walked around Franklin Street. Good memories :).
After the walk, we were exhausted and we all slept together:).

The next morning, we walked to the Coffee Shop restaurant for brunch and walked a little more around the UNC campus.

After a short nap, we packed up and left the hotel to meet Nana on Franklin Street. We spent a nice time on the grass around the campus.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Next we headed to Pittsboro for Annabella's party. Kids had a great time:).

Play date with Sofia!

We had a great play date with Sofia and Stephanie at their place! We had lunch from Panera Bread while girls ate pb&j sandwiches. After lunch we spent the whole afternoon in playroom where girls had so much fun together:).
