Cookie Monster!

Yeah, who would think that you can possibly eat cookies with only 3 toothers! Apparently, yes, you can:). We offered Julia one on Saturday and she surely ate it. They are Gerber cookies for infants and toddlers, but I was hesitant to give them to her, because they are hard as a rock. Oh, well....she managed to eat them just fine:). And yes, they have only 1% sugar content and 25cal, so no harm here :).

Happy 8th Anniversary to Mommy and Daddy!

Wow, it is hard to believe that it has been already 8 years! I can truly say that with all those ups and downs (yeah, we're not perfect and we don't want to be - that would be so boring, right? :)) we made it so far! We didn't have a huge and lavish wedding, but it didn't really matter, because we love each other and continue to do so even more! And the best of all, we have our precious little girl, who brings so much joy into our lives! We are so blessed to have her and each other! Each and every day, we try to support each other, be understanding, and cherish our lives together!

Rainy weekend!

The temperature has dropped this weekend, which was a nice change, but it also brought some rain. Daddy was upset because his soccer game got cancelled on Sunday morning. Oooopps! I was joking that on the positive note there is at least one game that they are not going to lose (the cancelled one of course hehe ;).
Yesterday, after all that rain we went for a long walk and let our bunny Bunster to play in his new cage. After we bought the colorful gate for Julia, I had an idea that the same or similar gate would work for Bunster, who was cramped in his little cage, as well. I found one (the same one, but in this off white color) on Craigslist for $30. Bunster couldn't be happier :).

This morning, Julia was hanging out with Dada in her toy room before he had to do some office work. And, again, yes, we are rocking new jammies:).

We also went to Trader Joe's today to get a chicken for Julia and Lowe's to replace a few door stops in our house (mainly in Julia's toy room and the nursery). You can tell that Dada was helping Julia to replace it :).

After that, Daddy tried to entertain his Princess :).

Busy week behind us!

We got pretty occupied last week with many things such as renting out our rental house, selling some Julia's stuff, shopping for a new stuff, Romp n' Roll and Mama's Seal Team workouts. We did sign a lease and our new tenants are moving in on April, 1st. Yay!
The weather is getting out of control here, super hot. We managed to spend a lot of time outside, but a sunscreen and a big canopy are a must!

Strolling and snacking in a new stroller :).
I love the legs action;)
Playing with Hugo and Basia is becoming a daily activity. They might not like it, but have to deal with it!:)
I should also mention that Hugo and Basia had their 7th b-day on March 22. Happy Birthday to our sweet kids!:)

Hanging out with Basia:)

Chasing Hugo:)

We were bargain shopping yesterday and scored for Julia this cool activity center. It is brand new with all the bells and whistles, retail $60, paid $15. Julia entered her toy room this morning and she had this huge grin on her precious face when she noticed this new entertainment!:) It certainly is a huge hit!

Night, night and story time with Dada. They are reading their fav book about mousy!:)

Yes, she is wearing new jammies from baby Gap :)

Family Sunday!

We've had a great day today! The three of us went for almost 2 hour walk around the lake in our neighborhood. The weather was just perfect. Julia was enjoying herself a lot!:)

Julia had also her first fish (flounder) for dinner with green beans, butternut squash and a brown rice. I have to admit that it was a hit! We also had the same flounder, but our piece was blackened! Yummy!

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Our Saturday was pretty low key. I went to Traders Joes to get a chicken, veggies and fruit for Julia. Later that day, the three of us left the house to meet a lady who bought from us our umbrella stroller. This was a great opportunity to go to our local stroller/car seat store to buy for Julia a new umbrella stroller (yes, the one she was test driving couple days ago). We love our Uppababy Vista full size stroller, so we both agreed that we had to get the Uppababy G-Luxe umbrella stroller as well. It is just more convenient for travels (takes up less room in the trunk) and for a quick shopping. Jules loved it and she looked super comfy in it.
Another big:) milestone: Julia totally mastered eating cheerios and other small snacks ( she even nibbled on tofu yesterday); therefore, it was time to get her a snack cup.

We are so proud just watching her changing everyday. She is getting smarter and smarter right in front of our eyes. We love her like crazy! :)

Meeting Daddy!

Jules stopped by Daddy's office to give him a big juicy kiss! Huh, not really, he just forgot to bring something with him to work, so we had to drop it off! After that, we were test driving some umbrella strollers and almost bought one ( we're coming back for it on Saturday)!
And yes, we went to the Romp n' roll class. Jules had fun, but was a little bit sleepy. I had to wake her up before we left the house.

Winter? Really?????

Yeah, it is crazy to think that we still have a winter and Julia is wearing shorts and a t-shirt! Good thing she can still fit in several of  her 3-6 months clothes she wore last summer :). I should also mention that we have a new skill: screaming!!! Yes, Jules has realized that she has an ability to scream and she does it everywhere now, house, stores, you name it! Our wild child!:)

Strolling at Stony Point Mall

New jammies!

Good morning everyone! The temperature was in mid 50s last night; therefore, we put aside our warm jammies and switched to these pink cuties! We call them 'different jammies' for now!

Julia loves to read! We go through at least 10 books a day :)

Baby Shower flashback!

Exactly 1 year ago, on the March 13th, my dear friends Doreen and Silvia along with Doreen's mother-in-law Jackie threw for me an amazing baby shower. After about 5 weeks of a truly boring bed rest, it was a fresh change to get dressed, leave the house and catch up with my friends. Girls did a wonderful job decorating and cooking. Gifts were thoghtful as well. Here are some shots from that memorable event! Even back then, Baby Paget was a very lucky gal!:) She came to this world about 4 weeks and 3 days later!

Guests included: Doreen, Silvia, Alicja, Agnieszka, Aneta, Iwona, Marie, Lisa, Lori, Christine, Sofia, Jackie!

Quality time with Hugo!

For a while we thought that our kitties Hugo and Basia were not able to jump over the gate that separates Julia's playroom and the kitchen. Oh well, that's not the case anymore! Julia and Hugo have definitely one thing in common.... they both love to look through the window! It was such a nice weather outside, so I decided to open the window for Julia to look around and to let some fresh air into her room. Hugo didn't waste any time to join her hehe!

We also went for a long walk and I did remember to apply sunscreen on those precious legs and arms :).

Carytown bound!

After the Carolina-Florida State game, we decided to spend some quality time in Carytown. We were strolling around, window shopping, stopped in Franklin Goose (very cool and organic children store) and had some Sweet Frog frozen yogurt with yummy toppings. The weather was just perfect for our little outing :). It was a second day Julia missed her afternoon nap, but she was in bed by 7pm this evening!

While Mommy was preparing a bath, Jules was catching up on some readings. Of course Daddy couldn't control himself and started fooling around. Basia joined too.......hmmmm, maybe that wasn't a good idea hehe!

Busy Saturday!

It was a day full of errands! We went to Lowe's to get curtain rod for Julia's bathroom, grocery store and had lunch at Panera Bread. Julia was snacking on Gerber puffs. She actually grabs them from the tube by herself now! Such a smarty pants!:) We also showed our house to our potential tenants and I think we found a perfect couple:).

Waiting for Mama, all dressed up and ready to go!

Daddy came home for lunch!

Today, Daddy surprised his Princess by coming home for lunch. They hung out and played together, while mama made some grilled cheese with tomatoes and bacon. Daddy had his lunch and was ready to go back to work, but Jules made sure he didn't have any left over cheese between his teeth, hehe (last pic);).

Later that day, we went for a long walk and little shopping spree. The weather was gorgeous and Julia loves being outside :). She also had fun skyping with Babcia and Dziadek while out!:)
